Help That Lasts: Let Mercy Speak

“When Bartimaeus heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout and say, “Jesus, Son of David (Messiah), have mercy on me!”

‭‭Mark‬ ‭10‬:‭47‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Bartimaeus was a blind man

He did not hold back when he heard Jesus of Nazareth was coming

He was not arrogant proud or shy

He understood the level of authority Jesus of Nazareth carried as he walked upon

You’re not suppose to do this life alone! 

Walking in pride and thinking your life will miraculously work is an agreement to perpetually live frustrated on this journey of life 

“A man’s pride and sense of self-importance will bring him down, But he who has a humble spirit will obtain honor. 

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭29‬:‭23‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Open your mouth and say Jesus, thou son of David have mercy on me! 

“The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭51‬:‭17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I am weak, stranded, alone, fearful and everything in life is not working

You’ve done all that you can do in your strength, it’s time to turn to your father who is in heaven, who will never leave you stranded 

Just like Bartimaues eyes were not working, there are areas in your life that are not working 

God will never reject a sincere and honest heart 

Confess with your lips from your heart, help me Lord

“Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called the blind man, telling him, “Take courage, get up! He is calling for you.”

‭‭Mark‬ ‭10‬:‭49‬ ‭AMP‬‬

This is the start to your deliverance, rest assured that God hears and sees you as you come broken before him 

“And Jesus said, “What do you want Me to do for you?” The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni (my Master), let me regain my sight.” Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith [and confident trust in My power] has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and began following Jesus on the road.

God will never turn away a truly sincere heart that comes before him, because we have no power within ourselves to save ourselves 

He desires to help you

Wherever you may be hurting, sick in your body, disease, decline, frustration any area of your life this is a call from your father Jesus Christ, he sees you and he’s waiting on you! 

Do not be afraid, he will take you by the hand “He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still and quiet waters. He refreshes and restores my soul (life); He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.”
